Patches is a beaut little dog. He was surrendered to the pound because his owner moved into a flat and couldn't take him!. He was in the pond for 3 weeks, 2 weeks longer than most dogs because the staff knew he had great potential. He is currently being fostered with a family who have 3 other dogs and a cat. He has settled in better than their expected. He is so loving, gentle and sweet. He gets on famously with all the dogs, cat and kids. He is already getting used to walking on the lead (I don't think he has every been for a walk before!). Patches has lots of love to give and would make a loyal companion and new best friend. He is house trained and enjoys lying by the fire at night and getting lots of cuddles.

Daredevil is a super affectionate boy with a stunning white tiger looking coat. He loves people and is great with other cats. At some stage he has lost both his eyes and is completely blind. This doesn't phase him at all, he is such a confident boy and his hearing is superb. He is a climber too and likes nothing more than sitting on your shoulder getting cuddles and purring loudly. Due to his sight Daredevil will need to be an indoor only cat. He quickly becomes accustomed to his surrounds and when shown where the food bowls, litter trays are etc he is then fine to use them. He is only the size of a 7-8mth old cat but he is probably older than this by the look of his teeth. He has been somebodies loved pet at some stage as he is otherwise healthy and so adoring of people. Daredevil is looking for a special home with a family after a super cuddly addition who are willing to look past his looks!

Dare Devil was found lost and taken to the pound. He has no eyes and this could either be the result of a previous infection with cat flu or a birth defect. This doesn't worry him at all, and beside occassionally bumping into walls he is really very good at navigating around and has excellent hearing skills to help. However it appears that the eye sockets are getting gunk inside them and causing irritation and mild infections. The vets recommend that we close the eye cavity shut to avoid this problem in the future.
So we are looking for sponsorship to help us cover these expenses. The surgery will cost around $250

These pups are friendly, healthy little guys. Their mum was a purebred german shephard, dad is unknown but most likely a border collie or kelpie x by the look of it. All of these puppies are very happy and healthy. They are used to playing with children, adults and other dogs and used to being around cats. They are all learning to walk on a leash and are used to living outside but also enjoy special indoor cuddle occasions.
