Roscoe is a lovely gentleman, in plump paddock condition. He is easy to catch, shoe, float, worm, & give injections to. Teeth & feet done recently.
He is very quiet to ride if you are a confident rider, however at present he hasn’t been ridden in a year.
When ridden in a group he will just plod along, however out alone he will pick up on a nervous person, hence he is not for beginners.
Roscoe raced up until about 9yrs, then pulled wedding carriages for 2 years. He’s done Parelli (Level 1) & has been an RDA horse last year for 4 months, he was great ridden but a bit cranky on the ground.
Roscoe would suit being a grass eater, companion horse, or great for someone who is confident, firm but kind who wanted a quiet horse to ride on trails, ride out on the farm on etc, he is not at all a tear around horse.

little boy who is toilet trained and can sit and stay on command. He
plays really well with the two big staffies and the three very small
children. He will be a very loyal dog and probably not that big when
he grows up. He's only 9 weeks old and loves to play and sleeps all
night. He has been in a house that is fairly active and I don't
think he would like to spend much time alone. Joey is very very
social and would suit somebody who wants a companion dog and will

Bronson: Bronson is a lovely smoochy boy. He rests his head against you or in your hand and will fall asleep there while he is being stroked. He's a beautiful , beautiful boy! Being a Mastiff cross he will grow to be a large dog and is allready quite solid. I think he will blossom into one of those lovely gentle big dogs. He's playful with his siblings and gets along well with all kinds of dogs. His coat is very smooth and short so is low maintainance. Bronson is not too cheeky but he will be a strong dog when grown so for this reason training as a pup is a must. The best thing about Bronson aside from his adorable handsome little face is how affectionate and sweet natured he is. He leans up against you for pats and looks up at you with his big brown eyes, he's impossible to resist.
Libby: Libby is a dear sweet little girl, she is very well behaved for such a young puppy. She gives gentle kisses and will happily be cuddled on your lap for as long as you let her. She is the quietest and most submissive of her siblings. Libby is no touble at all and is a pleasure to look after, bless her little heart. Libby gets along well with all kinds of dogs. She's quite happy to sun herself on her doggy bed and have a little play with her brother in the sandpit. She's affectionate but not too bouncy or in your face, she is a gentle soul. Libby has a short smooth easy care coat and should grow to be a meduim to large sized dog. Libby is a special little girl who needs a loving person/family to call her own. Taz is generally a very happy dog who seems content to spend the whole day asleep if he can find a comfy warm spot. He requires at least half hour walk a day on his lead and a home with a big back yard so he can also stretch his legs. He is not destructive, hardly barks and has never shown signs of trying to escape. He's obedient, house trained and responds well to positive reinforcement training. He is very well behaved with children, but not with cats or very small dogs. Prefers sofas to dog kennels and loves a cuddle at the end of the day whilst watching favourite TV programmes. (keep an eye on your beer though!). A very affectionate, low maintenance boy.

Orientals have the same sleek bodies and wedge shaped heads as Siamese, they make very faithful companions who will reward loving owners with devotion and affection. Like Siamese they are active and some times noisy cats who will hold a conversation with all they encounter as they gallop through life. Poor Coco was handed into the vets for euthanasia as the owners simply didn't have time for her anymore. Luckily the vets persuaded them to surrender her to rescue instead.

Phoenix is a lovely girl and a terrific lap dog. She is house trained
and walks well on a lead. She sits when she is told and has a great
nature. She travels well in the car well. She would be suited to a

ages to get a pat or belly rub. She likes to sleep indoors rather than
outside and sleeps quietly all night. Her coat is a beautiful golden
brown and is soft and fluffy. Phoenix gets along really well with my
other dog which is a female Golden Retriever. She has barked at the cat
next door but it doesn't keep her interest for more than a few seconds.

Poor Majenta came into rescue in a sorry state, all skin and bones and timid and shy of her new surroundings. In the last few weeks she has slowly put on weight and has quickly gained her confidence with people and other dogs. She is a lovely girl that wants nothing more than to be loved. She is quiet and not bouncy and loves to get pats. She is so sweet natured and kind. She is currently living with her foster brothers and sisters so would probably be best off in a home with another canine companion. She sits on command but would do well with on going training. She would be fine with older children but younger children might be a bit over powering. She would suit any household that was willing to give her the love that she deserves. Diesel is a beautiful boy that has a lovely temperament. He is well behaved but can get excited as normal Labradors do. He is cream with a brown point so he has a lighter cream coat and a brown nose with light coloured green eyes. He is a lovely affectionate boy that gets along very well with other dogs even dominant males. He would make an ideal family pet for slightly older children as he is still learning not to jump up. Lovely natured boy, very bouncy as we had to shave off his coat due to long term neglect and he now thinks he is a smooth coated. The poor boy had nests of fleas in him and he had not been able to scratch himself as his coat was so thick and matted. He has come out of this neglect with a happy bouncy confident disposition, is now house trained and is great with kids and other dogs. Walks well on a lead and loves to socialising. We took him to a recent fundraiser and he just loved everyone and was a huge hit as he was so well behaved and bounced off everyone and sat down with the kids and gave them kisses and paws. He just loves to be loved and gives back every bit of attention that he receives twofold. He needs to be an inside dog as he will not cope with being locked out. Every night he goes into his bed in the laundry and not a sound is heard until his door is opened in the morning.

Pub is the most chilled out, no fuss cat you could ever meet! Obviously
someone's family pet at one stage, she is very friendly and has easily
fitted into several foster homes. She loves being patted and is happy to sit
next to you all day lapping up your attention - it is hard to believe that
she was dumped at a pub with her young kittens (hence her name). Pub is good
with other cats, however she is not really into playing and is easily
annoyed by energetic kittens. She could be adopted as an 'only' cat or with

Maisy is a playful affectionate puppy. She is super smart as she learns things very quickly. She is also quite gentle and sweet. Maisy is best suited to a home where she will be an only dog or to a home with an adult 'dominant' dog as she tends to try to hog all the attention if she can get away with it. She is very pretty and so soft her pictures don't do her justice. She sits at your feet when you call her to you and looks up at you with her big brown eyes. Quite often she rolls onto her back for belly rubs which she loves. Maisy would do very well at puppy school. Since in care i have started teaching her basic commands and she has proven to be VERY responsive to training and would do very well with someone who had an interest in dog obedience or any activity that required intelligence in a dog. Maisy came into foster care allready knowing how to fetch a ball and walks pretty well on lead for a pup without any formal training. She isn't overly bouncy either. Maisy should grow to be a medium sized dog.

Scooby is a very gentle, active and intelligent boy. He will require daily exercise with good runs and something to stimulate his mind when left alone. He gets along well with other dogs and is submissive in nature towards them and probably would be best homed with another dog or with a new forever owner who is home a lot and wants a gorgeous boy to keep them company around the house. Scooby’s favourite past time is sitting along side you and watching the world go by.
He is a bit cautious at first when meeting new people, but this is probably due to so many people moving him around so much as a pup, but with a little coxing he is soon up for a game of tag and is the loyalist of dogs. Scooby would make a great agility dog and will learn things quickly. Scooby is almost pure black and has big dark brown gentle eyes that follow you everywhere waiting for his next command so he can please you. Scooby is great with children and with the right positive training would never leave your side.

Matilda

We were lucky enough to know Matilda's name when she arrived as she
responds to instructions best when her name is said before the instruction.
Matilda is amazingly well behaved. She heels so well when out on a walk
that you don't realise she's there. She comes when called even if she is
intent on watching the possum in the tree that teases her every night.
Matilda gets on really well with our large dog. They can play and run
together for ages. I'm not sure how she would get on with a small dog.
She
ignored one we met on a walk but barked at another (If I was a dog I would
bark at that one myself).
Matilda has been very good with the teenage kids in our family as well as
the adults and welcomes every stranger into the place with a great deal of
affection after she has barked loudly at them.
She was good when my neice and nephew aged 4 and 6 visited but they wern't
here for a long time to guage properly how she responded with young
children
but she did let the 4 year old hang around her neck without a problem.
Matilda would be one of the happiest dogs I have ever met. She loves to
be
around people, but has never been a problem when we wern't home - there
haven't been any plants uprooted, objects destroyed etc.
Matilda loves to retrieve soft toys as well as balls.
We have a cat that tends to tease the dogs and Matilda has shown a keen
interest in being with the cat. She hasn't harmed the cat but I wouldn't
leave them together on their own as she sits very intently watching the
cat
and avoiding any swipes when she gets too close. I suspect that she lived
with a cat at her last home.
Matilda chases any bird that lands on the ground outside but has shown no
interest in our large pet bird at home.
Matilda is very intelligent and learns new commands very quickly. At the
moment she is being taught to roll over when asked to.
Matilda has eaten anything that we have fed her so is not a problem with
feeding. She is also easy to give medications to and lets you put them in
her mouth without a problem.
Although an active dog, Matilda is not hyperactive.
She has been sleeping outside at night but would be more than happy to
stay
inside and is house-trained.
Matilda really is a fantastic dog.

Darcie is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. She enjoys the company of children. Darcie is very intelligent and easy to train using positive methods, and has graduated from the Norwest Introductory Flyball course. Darcie currently cohabits with four other dogs, two cats and a cockatiel. She likes to chase fast moving things which is great for ball play but it means not all cats would be suitable to live with her. Darcie did not have the best start in life and can get a bit anxious when alone, particularly during the settling-in period. She doesn’t like roughness or being shouted at (although she enjoys a bit of chase/wrestle with a doggy friend). Darcie would do best with an owner who is home a lot, and/or a doggy companion and an owner who will give her time when at home. She also needs excellent fencing, again particularly during the settling-in period. Being part working dog (Kelpie and/or Border Collie), she does need exercise (both physical and mental), although the Whippet part of her knows how to snooze for much of the day. Darcie is on the smallish side of medium and she doesn’t bark much either. She has a desire to please and does everything for her person with maximum effort. Darcie has potential to excel in dog sports, although she does not NEED this sort of home. For the right person or family, Darcie would be a rewarding companion.

Jasper is cute as a button and almost as small. He is the ultimate
lapdog.
Jasper was surrendered to the pound when his owner became ill and still
looks a little sad. Jasper would love nothing better than spending the
whole day (and night) curled up in your lap. Whenever you walk past Jasper he
immediately rolls onto his back waiting for a tummy rub. He does not need much exercise but certainly still loves his walks and enjoys having a
little run around the park. Jasper is excellent in the car and is housetrained.
He gets along okay with my large dog but would probably prefer to be the
only dog so he can get all the attention. He is a very quiet dog and you
would hardly know he is there. Jasper likes children but is not
interested
in playing any games so would most likely be suited to a single person or
couple. He would be fine living in a unit and is just waiting to be given
a forever home where he can spend his whole time in your lap.

Lucy is a small finely built ACD female. She is a very happy girl who smiles all the time and just loves attention from humans. Lucy would be a lap dog if she was allowed too and loves nothing better than sitting half in your lap and giving kisses. She has definitely had obedience training at some stage as knows sit/stay, drop and basic commands. She is great to walk on lead and will happily trot beside you when off lead as well. She is currently living with a larger male dog and they get along fine although Lucy would rather be with her humans. Lucy travels great in the car and is currently living as an inside/outside dog. She will need regular exercise as she does have energy but as long as she is exercised she is a happy, placid dog who just wants someone to love her. The photo shows Lucy doing her special dance which she tends to do if she is being ignored and wants some attention. Lucy would be fine as an only dog or doggy companion for a male dog. She would suit either a larger property or a home where she would be regularly exercised. Probably not suited for smaller children as she can get excited when meeting people and tends to jump up a little for attention.

Apricot
Apricot is a very funny kitten! She makes out she doesn't want to be cuddled
and runs away. However once caught, she'll lie in your lap for hours purring
and enjoying your attention. She loves to explore the house and find strange
places to fall asleep in - like under pillows or in the shower. She also
enjoys playing with her sisters and any toys you provide her. She would be
better as an 'only' cat so she can develop her personality to refect her
stunning beauty.
Smokey
This lovely looking girl, with delicate markings and a pale tabby coat, is a
very easy going kitten. She likes to explore her surroundings, however she
also enjoys curing up to her humans while watching TV. She's very quiet and
purrs as soon as she is picked up. Smokey also loves playing with her
siblings and being mothered by her foster mum 'Martha'. She would make a
fantastic edition to a family who already has other animals or could also be
adopted as an 'only' cat.
Pastel
Pastel is a shy when meeting new people, however there is a friendly and
outgoing kitten waiting to be descovered. While she does love a scratch
under the chin and a cuddle now and then she would be best suited to an

Lucy is beautiful and sweet girl, who is a little timid when she first meets people and when she is exposed to new surroundings although she warms very quickly and is very responsive after the initial meeting. This is probably due to the fact that she was abused previously. But even though she may have been harmed by humans previously she is so forgiving and loving. She displays no aggression to dogs or humans and is extremely well behaved at meal times. Lucy is the size of a border collie but has the build of kelpie. She is probably crossed with a terrier of some sort. She has a wirey coat that needs to be brushed once a week to stop it from knotting but otherwise she is a very low maintenance dog that only wants to be loved. She would probably be best suited to a family with teenage children as she does frighten easily of loud noises. Lucy would make a great addition to a family that is looking for a low maintenance dog that needs a little attention every day.

Melly is a water baby, she just loovveess water!!! Her toes are slightly webbed so she may be crossed with a water breed of some sort. She is a loving and sweet natured girl who loves everyone she meets. She would make a great pet and her love of water would be fantastic for people who spend lots of time around water. She is not an over excitable puppy which would make her great with kids. Although she isn’t the most cutest pup around her personality certainly makes up for it.

Tia is slightly smaller than her brother and a little more independant. However she too loves her cuddles and is a quiet natured girl. She is very well behaved and no trouble at all. Both puppies get along well with other dogs. They are crossed with a small dog so they should not grow to be any bigger than a Staffy and could well end up being smaller especially in the case of Tia. Their coats are very short and low maintanence. Tia and Cooper are very sweet adorable little puppies and are a delight to have around.

Casper is a lovely gentle natured boy. He is no trouble at all, great with children and doesn’t jump up. He is very quiet and sweet without being overbearing. Allthough initially fostered by another carer as an outside only dog, he has in his new foster home been allowed inside at his discretion and has had not one single accident inside. So he is virtually toilet trained. He loves to be close to you sitting by your feet or next to you on the couch (if he’s allowed). He is great with other dogs. Capser has a funny quirk of smiling at you when you come home! Not to be mistaken for panting, Casper actually lifts only his top lip to reveal his front teeth briefly in what looks like an attempt to smile as us humans would. His way of showing affection is to sit close by and or rest his head on or against you while you pat him. He is truly one of the most beautiful sweet natured dogs you’ll ever meet.

Rusty is a really sweet little dog who loves his toys!! He is really quite smart and learns quickly. He is great in the car, walks well on a lead and knows how to sit and drop. He loves to be with you so would be best suited to someone that is home or has another dog for company. He will sleep in a kennel and is fine in a crate. He is good with cats but tends to get very excited when he is inside!!!! He loves to be held like a baby and go to sleep in your arms.
