Homeschool Programs
with Step Up for Students
Step Up for Students is a nonprofit organization in Florida that helps families access a variety of K-12 education scholarships, giving students more choice in how they learn.
Because DreamCatcher Horse Rescue is a registered provider (or partner) with Step Up, students using their Step Up scholarship can apply their funds toward riding lessons, or participate in our Horsin’ Around Grooming & Handling Club. This offers a unique, experiential learning opportunity that blends horsemanship with life skills—all supported through their scholarship.

Riding Lessons
Individual Scheduling with a Trainer
$60 per student per session
Students can use their Step Up for Students scholarship funds to participate in our individualized horseback riding lessons. Each session gives your student personalized instruction tailored to their pace, comfort level, and goals.
Our instructors guide students through the fundamentals of riding, including balance, steering, proper posture, and safe handling—all while building confidence, responsibility, and a strong connection with their horse partner. Whether your child is brand-new to horses or continuing to build their skills, these sessions offer a supportive, positive learning environment.
Horseback riding is a wonderful way for students to develop focus, coordination, and self-confidence while enjoying enriching time outdoors.
